Today I will say something about my family love.
I remember when I was younger. My family lived a simple life. We weren't wealthy by any stretch of the imagination, but we were content with what we had.
Our first vehicle was an old broken-down bicycle. It provided us with transportation on many enjoyable weekends and holidays. Mom sat on the back while Dad pedaled. I, a mere toddler at the time, rode on the bar in front of him. It didn't matter where we were going as long as we were going there together.
Not long after that, my family moved to Hainan. Relying on my parents, courage and persistence, they started their own business. As a result, we were soon able to replace the bike with a new car. So we could travel further on our excursions. Our family's happy laughter filled the car as we traveled to many distant locations in China. Many years have gone by since those happy days, but we're still as close as ever.
Recently, the airplane has become our mode of transportation as we venture beyond the confines of China to see the world. We were able to experience firsthand the uniqueness of Amsterdam, the romance of Paris, and the elegance of Vienna. But yet, such fantastic sites were nothing compared to the love of our family.
Time goes by swiftly, and everything is changing all the time.Yet the love existing in my family always remains. It is the source of our happiness; It,s the source of all of our ideals: confidence, courage, and faith. But it goes so much deeper than that; it warms our very hearts. So I will acclaim for the eternal and awesome love in my family and let it go on forever!

Never Lose the Vision of Reality
Good afternoon, Ladies and gentlemen,
My topic today is Never Lose the Vision of Reality. Talking about dreams and future, I would say, dreams should never be too far away from reality. Detaching from reality, lacking solid or practical actions, any future plan or dream project will be nothing short of daydreaming, or, at most well-intentioned thinking. Here I am reminded the year of 20xx, when 191 member states of the United Nations held a World Summit Conference, which made a declaration known as the Millennium Development Goals. The goals of 20xx, which every member state pledged to meet, were such as, elimination of hunger and poverty, drastic reduction in child mortality rates, reversing a spread of AIDS and other deadly diseases, etc. Now, six years later, almost half way to the final year of 20xx, do we see any signs of realizing these goalsToday, half the world- about three billion people, still live under two U.S. dollars a day; about 270 million children have no access to safe water, 11 million children die before they reach the age of five each year. Do we come to harness the spread of the AIDSThe answer is also “no”- and indeed AIDS is spreading faster and wider than ever before. Should Smoking in Public Places be Banned?
Nowadays many countries in the world have passed laws to ban smoking in public places. Some smokers claim that their rights are infringed if smoking is forbidden in public places. However, most non-smokers regard the ban as good news. As far as I’m concerned, smoking should be banned in all the public places such as restaurants, theaters and public squares.
On the one hand, smoking is harmful both for smokers themselves and others. It is reported that every year smoking causes millions of death around the world. On the other hand, smoking pollutes the air. Just imagine that you sit in a restaurant full of smoke, how can you enjoy your meal there? Besides, smoking is bad for the elevation of a country’s image in the world.
I believe if smoking is banned in all the public places, most of us will breathe in more fresh and clean air. And the health condition of all the people will be greatly improved.

We Are Family 20xx is a special year for Beijing for the Olympic Games. It is a special year for me too. I watched 8 games. The Olympic Games let me know, for all of the people in the world, we are family. In the 16 days, I saw different people from different countries. I heard different languages in the world. I sat next to English, American, Canadian and Korean when watching hockey games. I shouted “Go! Go! Go!” with Argentinian and Serbian when watching football match. In the Olympic Park, Australian friends shared their small gifts with Russian, German, French and Chinese. Everybody from different countries smiled at each other. Everybody was friendly to each other in these 16 days.
This is Olympic. It brings friendship, it brings peace.
I will remember the Beijing Olympic Games in my life.

You won't be surprised to find many students sleep in class today, especially in the math class. When the class is over, we can see many people wake up all together.
Many of them say that they actually don't want to dream in class at all as it's such a shameful thing to dribble when the teacher is solving an equation.
In fact, students always fall asleep unconsciously.

Now the schedule in our university is so tough that there's always too much to learn in a single class.
